Getting back on track…
I’m on the road heading back to Tampa from Atlanta, thinking about how today marks my official “getting back on track” day. I’ve allowed stress and employment issues sidetrack my healthy lifestyle, but no more! Tomorrow I’m going to take a walk and drink my regular amount of water. I won’t overdue things though becase I know that might shock my body and throw a wrench in my plan

The Perks of Getting Older!

I was getting ready to leave my office for lunch when some beautiful purple roses arrived!

My boyfriend sent them for my Birthday which is this Sunday and he completely surprised me! I didn’t even realize roses could be purple!!!

They are amazing! G thank you for being so thoughtful. I thank God for granting me passage into another year of life and for making it possible for us to share our lives together. I love you!

Still climbing…

Since the Climb Tampa challenge I’ve decided to keep stair training. It’s just such a great all body workout and I’d like to improve my time so I can compete in some more stair climbing events. I will also be walking more in preparation for my marathon and integrating some pilates routines into my weekly workouts.
This morning I completed a biggest loser circuit routine and climbed on the elliptical for 15 minutes and 47 seconds. That’s 914 steps and 143 calories.
After the Climb Tampa event (914 steps) and this morning’s workout (914 steps), I’ve reached these virtual heights:
1. Millennium Dome, England 21 flights (320 steps)
2.Sydney Opera House, Australia 28 flights (425 steps)
3. Clifton Suspension Bridge, England 33 flights (490 steps)
4. Big Ben, England 42 flights (632 steps)
6. BT Tower, Birmingham, England 66 flights (997 steps)
7. Blackpool Tower, England 69 flights (1,036 steps)
8. Seattle Space Needle, USA 78 flights (1,164 steps)
9. Canary Wharf Tower, England 107 flights (1,600 steps)
I now have 1,000 steps left until I reach my next virtual height:
10. Petronas Twin Towers, Malaysia 190 flights (2,860 steps)
