*A bit of pain in my right shoulder, might be taking a few rest days with the push-up challenge as the Climb Tampa event nears. I’ve been using both arms while climbing and I don’t want to overuse them prior to the event!

Incorrect Push-Up Form
I’ve accepted the fact that I’m not doing my push-ups correctly. Before today I’d been doing push ups on my toes and my back was dipping in ways it shouldn’t have been, then my boyfriend informed me that I was doing more of a tricep push-up and that my form was all off. Once he showed me the proper way to do a push up I realized that I didn’t have enough strength to do them that way on my toes…
So this morning a made a decision to pursue this goal with modified push-ups… yep, I know “girly” push-ups.
Hey I’d rather have good form and refrain from hurting myself than do them on my toes and end up with a back problem!

2009 Goal: Complete the 100 Consequtive Push-Up Challenge
I’ll be refering to this as my PUC (Push-Up Challenge) I was only able to do 7 pushups in the initial test, so I’m starting out at rank 2.
Set 1 – somewhat difficult
Set 2 – really difficult
Set 3 – had to take a break in between 3 and 4
Set 4 – had to take breaks in between 2, 3 and 4
Set 5 – had to take breaks between 4 and 5
Well, a shakey start… but a start!
