Mixing things up with a vest…

Posted by b4andafter - 08/04/09 at 08:04 am

I got this green/yellow shirt from a thrift store recently and decided to try it out with my black vest from the Limited. I think it works well with my wide leg black trousers.

I also wore this shirt without the vest back on St. Patrick’s day when we adopted Brooklyn from the Humane Society. Here’s a picture (I’ll do anything to slip in a picture of our puppy :-))

3-in-1

Flex!

This post packs in three of my goals at once.

1. Dress more fashionably at work: I just love this top that I’ve paired with dark brown trousers. I was joking with G earlier that the style will work really well when/if I ever become pregnant ;-)

2. Get more definition in my arms: I’ve still got a ways to go… but I definitely see an improvement!

3. Wear my hair in new styles: I’ve worn this up-do to work a few times, but I’m getting better and quicker at pinning it up in the morning. Today was probably my all time record!

Slacking on my fashion goals a bit…

Posted by b4andafter - 30/03/09 at 08:03 am

… but I’ve got good reason! I was sick all last week but happy to announce that I am coming back from being “bummy”. I’ve even got pictures of a few outfits I wore before getting sick. I’ll start with today’s outfit:

My favorite orange jacket paired with my creme two piece top and skirt. My shoes are gold ballerina flats…

… and I couldn’t resist another top-model pose with my cropped teal sweater, black tank and black trousers…

This day I was also working on another goal of mine (wear my hair in different styles)… I’ve got a ways to go with that one! Anyway, the outfit consists of my favorite green jacket with a blue-green top that I got from the thrift store for only $2! Gotta love it :-)
