Fridays are always tough…
I was tempted to sleep in this morning but I made myself get out of bed and go to the gym before work. It was a small victory that will definitely make a difference as we enter into the weekend.

Incorrect Push-Up Form
I’ve accepted the fact that I’m not doing my push-ups correctly. Before today I’d been doing push ups on my toes and my back was dipping in ways it shouldn’t have been, then my boyfriend informed me that I was doing more of a tricep push-up and that my form was all off. Once he showed me the proper way to do a push up I realized that I didn’t have enough strength to do them that way on my toes…
So this morning a made a decision to pursue this goal with modified push-ups… yep, I know “girly” push-ups.
Hey I’d rather have good form and refrain from hurting myself than do them on my toes and end up with a back problem!

CTT Progress - Muscle Strain :-(
I noticed a twinge of pain during my African dance class last night. I took a hot bath last night and have been stretching it out ever since. I skipped my step workout this morning and just did my resistance training and push-ups.
I plan to walk at lunch just to keep things loose and then resume with the stair climbing tomorrow.
